Santa Monica’s Nonstop Sushi is opening a second location in Marina del Rey, located at 4025 Del Rey Ave.

This is a massive accomplishment for owner Austin Whang, who opened the business in 2015. Now, he is getting ready to move into the former home of Freebirds World Burrito, next to Naab Mediterranean. Whang tells What Now Los Angeles he expects to open the new location by the end of the year. When the new site opens, customers can expect a variety of specialties, including honeymoon rolls, sashimi, nigiri sushi, and other sushi rolls.

Whang takes pride in serving the highest quality sushi and other Japanese foods. All of the sushi made at the restaurant is prepared in-house and made to order. Nonstop Sushi also offers vegetarian-friendly sushi, as well as various appetizers, salads, combo dinners, noodles, and side dishes. Finally, the restaurant offers a happy hour twice a day, where drinks and sushi are at a discounted price.

For those who have never visited the restaurant before, it’s recommended to look at the menu before a visit, considering the eight-page menu has something for everyone. Some popular sushi options include the mango salmon roll, the heart attack roll, the nonstop roll, and the sushi burrito. To keep things interesting, the restaurant recently shared new summer specials, including a spicy tuna maki, a tuna tataki, and a yummy roll.
