Professional baker and photographer Ivory Ventura’s confectionary concept Ivory’s Bake Shop will land its first brick-and-mortar at the corner of Olympic and Butler on the ground floor of the new On Butler development (2140 Butler Avenue), according to the business’s Instagram and TodRickAllen.com.
A native Angeleno, Ventura started her career as a photographer before combining her love for cameras and affinity for cakes to create a high-end, online dessert biz.
In addition to her cakes which border on too-pretty-to-eat, Ventura whips up cookies, cake jars, cake pops, crispy rice treats, and more from an extensive menu that includes an array of fillings, frostings, and flavors.
In her most recent post to the Ivory’s Bake Shop Instagram, Ventura details her elation regarding the incoming brick-and-mortar, explaining, “I’m beyond excited to see this bakery come to life!”
