Raising Cane’s is opening another L.A. location, this time in Westwood Village at the corner of Weyburn Ave. and Broxton Ave.
According to public records, the fast-food spot will consolidate four separate tenant spaces in the site’s existing building and add new awnings, storefront windows, entry doors, material finishes and rooftop equipment.
Since opening its first store in 1996, the chain known for its fresh chicken tenders, Texas Toast, crinkle cut fries, coleslaw and Cane’s sauce has exploded in popularity. Today, Raising Cane’s is one of the fastest growing fast-food joints in the U.S. with more than 750 locations in 37 states and four Middle Eastern countries, per Yahoo Finance. The brand has around 90 open stores in California alone.
Fun fact, Bloomberg recently declared founder Todd Graves a multibillionaire and the wealthiest person in Louisiana – that’s a lot of chicken tenders!
A representative for Raising Cane’s could not be immediately reached for comment about the Westwood Village location.
it’s small space?
Address is wrong. No construction has happened at that address in over a year and a half. However a few doors down at 10936 and 10938 they look like they’re almost finished with something that has yet to have a sign put up. Plus Canes just posted a GM position for that location last week.
