A brand new concept called Cantina La Nena is preparing to debut next year in Los Angeles at 6115 Sunset Boulevard, Site 100.

The new restaurant is the latest from restaurateur Vicente Del Rio, who is also the president and CEO of Hospitality 70 Group, according to a recent liquor license application. Del Rio tells What Now Los Angeles that the concept does not currently have an opening date, considering it is waiting on permit approval from the city of Los Angeles. Del Rio has also owned Frimex Hospitality Group, which helped open Frida Restaurants, Frida Tacos, and Cantina Frida.

While not much is known about Cantina La Nena, it will move into the former home of Paley in the Columbia Square business center, sharing the building with sweetgreen and SUGARFISH by sushi nozawa. The new restaurant should have no problems getting customers in its doors, especially sitting next to two well-known concepts. Another reason why this is an excellent location for Cantina La Nena is because of its proximity to other well-known destinations, like NeueHouse Hollywood, Hollywood Palladium, Earl Carroll Theater, and the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

Cantine La Nena will have some high expectations, considering it’s the latest from Hospitality 70 Group. Del Rio has over 30 years of experience in food service management and a passion for unique culinary experiences. If this new concept is like any of his other Beverly Hills restaurants, which still operate throughout Los Angeles, customers can expect delicious authentic Mexican cuisine in a welcoming space.
