SUSHISAMBA, a global chain offering a unique blend of Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian culture and cuisine, is preparing to expand into Los Angeles at 639 North La Peer Drive.

The company’s second U.S. location, and 11th overall, is set to open on the rooftop of the La Peer Building sometime next year, according to Eater Los Angeles. SUSHISAMBA Los Angeles will be 17,500 square feet with a 360-degree view and retractable roof. This is the company’s first announcement of a U.S. location since it opened in Las Vegas in 2008. The concept can be found worldwide, including in London, Dubai, Singapore, Riyadh, and soon, Abu Dhabi.

This is an exciting development for Los Angeles, considering that SUSHISAMBA is one of the best party concepts in the world, offering world-class service and an unmatched interior ambiance. When it opens next year, customers can expect terrazzo flooring, marble bar, lush plants, and a canopy cover made from recycled materials. Guests can watch the food be prepared and cooked through an open kitchen, sushi bar, and robata grill, making the experience even more intimate. This location will have a private dining room, private elevator, and separate entrance to cater to the Los Angeles celebrity crowd.

“SUSHISAMBA is born of the energy and spirit of these three distinct cultures,” according to the company’s website. “It is a tri-cultural coalition that took root in the early 20th century when thousands of Japanese emigrants traveled to South America’s fertile soil to cultivate coffee plantations and find their fortune. In bustling cities like Lima in Peru and São Paulo in Brazil, the integration of Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian cultures flourished.”
