Chubby Cattle, an upscale all-you-can-eat chain serving premium cuts of meat such as A5 Wagyu and lobster, is opening a new location in Cerritos at 11203 183rd St.

The company’s second Los Angeles site is set to replace Peking Wok at Plaza 183, according to a recent liquor license application. Chubby Cattle Cerritos is expected to open in Spring 2025, offering delicious Japanese BBQ. The Cerritos location will be a Wagyu BBQ AYCE (all-you-can-eat) restaurant, similar to our Little Tokyo location.

Chubby Cattle started as a hotpot brand in Las Vegas in 2014. The company has three concepts under the Chubby Cattle brand: Chubby Cattle Shabu, Chubby Cattle Hot Pot, and Chubby Cattle BBQ. Each restaurant offers a unique dining experience that combines technological innovation, the freshest ingredients, and the joy of gathering together. Chubby Cattle takes pride in serving premium cuts of meat sourced directly from ranches owned by the restaurant. The menu features modern flavors, including certified A5 Wagyu, Tomahawk steak, lobster, and much more. By blending traditional recipes with innovative techniques, Chubby Cattle transforms how customers experience Asian cuisine.

“Our mission is to change the way you enjoy each hotpot dip, shabu shabu swish, and yakiniku sear,” according to the company’s website. “With traditional recipes and global influence, Chubby Cattle brings out each ingredient’s natural flavors in every dish. Premium beef is even sourced from our restaurant-owned ranch and hand-delivered to each location. Implementing 5D projection dining rooms, food conveyor belts, and robot servers, Chubby Cattle is at the cutting edge of culinary technology. With a commitment to providing the best experience possible, Chubby Cattle merges innovation with traditional cuisine.”
