Tapster, a self-pour tasting room franchise, is expanding into the Denver area. Local couple Zac and Meghan Crow will open the first Colorado location in 2025, according to PR Newswire, and are looking for the right area to sign a lease.

The husband-and-wife team have lived in the area for over 10 years. They met while working in the restaurant industry, and while they have since each started different careers, they jumped at the chance once Tapster opened franchising opportunities last year.

The upcoming venue will feature over 40 taps, offering a diverse selection of locally sourced craft beers, wines, cocktails, kombucha, and more. With its pour-it-yourself and pay-by-the-ounce model, guests can sample and enjoy whatever drinks they want at their own pace, its website explains.

It will join the company’s current locations in Chicago, Seattle, Bellevue, and Cleveland. Another franchise agreement was also recently signed for Lexington, Kentucky, BevNet reports, and that location secured a lease already and is preparing to open in the spring.
