Changes coming soon to Midtown pub under new ownership.
Charlie G’s Eleventh Street Pub will soon undergo rebranding and minor concept changes.
The Midtown pub, at 1041 West Peachtree Street, announced in a Facebook post Tuesday, it is now under new ownership and will be renamed Eleventh Street Pub.
“…We are now under new ownership,” according to the post. “We will remain Charlie G’s until the end of March. At that time the name will be changed to Eleventh Street Pub.”
The new owners will be revamping the menu, and updating the pub’s beer selection and cocktail offerings.
The new owners contacted What Now Atlanta through Twitter Tuesday evening, but had no additional information.
“We’re not quite ready for you yet, but wanted to let you know there are changes under way at Charlie G’s,” according to the tweet.

This is still a great, little location. I remember when The Vortex first started here. Too bad the new owners want to change the name. It’s great, just the way it is. If it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it.
Let’s just hope they get rid of the smoking. I like the little place, but the smoke can be unbearable.
@ Chris – Let’s hope they do that everywhere, city wide
I love this place for its atmosphere. Cheers-esque? Or an old chicago pub? Not sure exactly.
But yeah, the food and beer list could definitely be improved.
I agree. Get rid of the smoking. This place is a few blocks from where I live but I’ve never been here specifically because they allow smoking.
I saw a roach in their a few years ago…smh bucket shop their other spot stinks with smoke also….
They don’t allow smoking in the Bucket Shop anymore.
