SoFresh, the healthy franchise that offers a signature ‘fast-casual fresh’ cuisine, is getting ready to open its doors in St. Johns, located at 505 Durbin Pavilion Dr., Suite 101.

The company first announced the Tampa-based restaurant would be coming to the area in 2021 under franchise owners Jeff and Amanda LaConte, with an opening date of the second quarter of 2022, according to an old press release. Now, Amanda tells What Now Jacksonville that after many delays, the location is set to open sometime next week. She tells the publication that while she and her husband will focus on getting this site in The Pavilion at Durbin Park up and running, they want to eventually expand and bring more SoFresh locations to the area.

When the new location opens next week, customers can expect bowls, salads, wraps, broth bowls, smoothies, and juices in a lively, welcoming setting. SoFresh takes pride in its versatile menu, which includes scratch-made in-house sauces and dressings. The company also accommodates a variety of preferences, including vegan, vegetarian, keto, paleo, and gluten-free. The new SoFresh location in St. Johns County will also feature a self-ordering kiosk prototype.

“We are excited to be serving our community nutritious, delicious dishes made to order,” Amanda LaConte said in a press release at the time of the announcement. “We believe in the mission of serving high-quality meals with transparent ingredients, and when we tried SoFresh for the first time, knew it would resonate well in Jacksonville.”
