Leaderboard Arcade Bar & Pizzeria, one of Jacksonville’s best arcade bars and pizzerias, is preparing to open a new location in Jacksonville at 5285 Shad Road, Site 313-317.

City officials recently approved the company’s second location this week to move into the Shad Landing shopping center, according to public records. The arcade bar will sit on the east side of the westernmost building, along with Olga’s Pet Grooming, 904 Deli, and Reach Chapel. This corner spot used to be the former home of Bounce-a-roo Family Entertainment Center and, before that, Tunnelz ‘N Tumblez. There is no exact opening date, but plans call for new construction.

When the new Leaderboard Arcade Bar & Pizzeria opens later this year, customers can expect a variety of classic arcade games and delicious food. While this will no longer serve as a family fun center, it will still provide the area will a fun establishment, this time for adults. The original location at 1760 Wells Road features 34 arcade games, 15 pinball machines, and dozens of games for consoles such as Xbox Series X, NES, Gamecube, and more.

To make things even more fun, the establishment offers plenty of draft beer, specialty cocktails, and food options. The menu features classic bar appetizers, such as garlic knots, wings, chicken nuggets, and mozzarella sticks. Leaderboard Arcade Bar & Pizzeria also offers sandwiches, burgers, and pizza. To help customers decide, the business provides top picks, such as dragonballz, freshly made dough tossed in hand-crafted hot sauce, and walking tacos made inside a bag of chaps.
