Slice Oakleaf, found in the Oakleaf Town Center Shopping Center, is getting ready for a remodel at 9725 Crosshill Boulevard, Suite 112.
The local pizza shop is getting ready for an uplift, according to a recent plan review application submitted to the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation. Owner Mostafa Javad tells What Now Jacksonville he plans to start these minor renovations in a few weeks but couldn’t provide an exact timeline. Javad says he is simply touching up the space, recently obtaining a permit for the remodel earlier this month. It’s unknown if Javad plans to close the restaurant for these renovations.
When the restaurant finishes the remodel, it will still offer pizza by the slice and whole, as well as various wings, pasta dishes, and sandwiches. For dessert, Slice Oakleaf offers canollis and cheesecake. The restaurant also has a happy hour where whole pies cost only $15 and lunch combos with options starting as cheap as $8. The company recently launched its own delivery service via toast takeout.
If the delicious pizza and entrees weren’t enough to get customers in the door, the restaurant’s social media takes time to recognize different teachers of the month. Once renovations are completed, it will surely bring in more customers, especially with the help of being within the busy Oakleaf Town Center, where there are over a dozen fast-casual options such as Chick-fil-A, Wendy’s, Wingstop, and more.
