Mayday Ice Cream, a fast-growing sweet shop founded in Florida, is preparing to open a new location in Nocatee at 120 Marketside Avenue, Suite #303.

Founders Stephen DiMare recently submitted a plan review application to the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation to open the company’s 13th location in the Nocatee Town Center. The request is still being processed. The company’s newest site will be situated between Dick’s Wings & Grill and Luxury Nail Spa and is expected to open in early 2024, according to The Parc Group, who made the announcement earlier this year.

When the company’s newest location opens in a few months, customers can expect a range of classic flavors with a modern twist, a handful of dairy-free options, and seasonal boozy flavors. Some examples of their traditional flavors include Queen Salted Caramel, Blueberry Toast Crunch, Cookie Crush, and Coffee + Donuts. The alcoholic options include Mayday’s “High Dive Melon,” a fresh watermelon sorbet with a splash of vodka.

“It’s a privilege to be opening and running a store that so many people love and see value in,” DiMare, a St. Augustine native who is also the owner of Hyppo Gourmet Ice Pops, said in a press release. “We are thrilled to be one of many local businesses moving into the growing community of Nocatee.”
