Mr. Snappers Fish Chicken and Shrimp is preparing to open a new location in Jacksonville Heights at 9144 103rd St.

The company recently submitted a plan review application to the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation to open a new location in a site currently occupied by Popeyes. It’s unclear if the business will replace the chicken chain or if it will build a new building next to it, but the application is still being processed. If approved, the American seafood restaurant will open sometime next year. This will be the southernmost location for the company, with two sites in Jacksonville and another in Georgia.

The two Jacksonville restaurants at 338 Dunn Avenue and 808 Edgewood Avenue offer a variety of burgers, wings, seafood, sandwiches, and more. Customers can expect several delicious seafood options, including catfish, oysters, shrimp, and more. On top of many American seafood options, Mr. Snappers also offers a few Korean options. There is also a Mr. Snapper’s Fish & Chicken in Brunswick, GA, at 2764 Hwy 17

“We’re proud to serve you at two convenient locations, Dunn Ave and Edgewood Ave, where exceptional flavors meet outstanding service,” according to the company’s website. “Whether you’re in the mood for a cozy evening at our Dunn Ave spot or looking for a vibrant atmosphere at our Edgewood Ave location, we’ve got you covered. Join us at either of these venues for a culinary journey you won’t forget.”
