Cigars International, a cigar bar and lounge with two sites in the Tampa area, is working on a new location in Jacksonville at 4808 Town Center Parkway.
The Pennsylvania-based company plans to open its third Florida location at The Strand at Town Center, costing about $7 million, according to Jacksonville Daily Record. The 6,586-square-foot site will feature 1,300 cigar brands, full-service bars, indoor and outdoor lounges, and flat-screen TVs, providing plenty of entertainment for cigar smokers. To keep everything fresh inside, company owners are adding a ventilation system. The new Cigars International will sit on vacant land next to Diamonds Direct later this year.
While Cigars International is the largest internet and catalog retailer of handmade cigars and accessories in the U.S., it has ten sites in Pennsylvania, Texas, and Florida. The Tampa Superstore features a variety of beverage options and cigar pairings. For example, a Jack Daniels is recommended to be enjoyed with a Man O War Ruination. This Cigars International location also features a handful of beer on draft, including Kentucky Bourbon Ale, Yuengling, Blue Moon, and more. On top of that, the retailer will also have bottled beers, wine, martinis, cocktails, bloody marys, and an impressive alcohol list. The Lutz site features non-alcoholic options and snacks, such as pretzels and chips.
“Each of our retail stores are fully-humidified and maintain the optimum 70/70 conditions around the clock,” according to the company’s website. “In other words, you’re stepping into one giant humidor, which smells downright glorious, mind you. This not only ensures the quality and freshness of your cigars, but also allows you to enjoy the pleasure of a fine cigar while perusing the shelves for your next treat. Ten unique locations – each with their own little somethin’ special to offer.”
