A brand new bagel shop called Bagels Up is preparing to open soon in Jacksonville, located at 13457 Atlantic Boulevard Ste 2.

The new bagel shop is getting ready to move into the former home of Planet Beach tanning salon in the Harbour Village shopping center, next to Smoothie King, according to a recent plan review application submitted to the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation. When it opens, customers can expect original New York bagels, homemade specialty cream cheeses and desserts, privately labeled coffee, Nitro coffee, and a variety of fresh tea drinks.

The new family-owned business will be open every day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will offer several vegetarian options on the menu, such as Veggie Bagels and fresh salad. The location’s exact opening date is unknown, but considering the nature of the application, it will likely be in the next few weeks. In addition to various bagel options, the eatery will offer a handful of other lunch and dinner options.

Harbour Village will be an excellent location for the company’s debut, considering the eatery will only have to compete with Gahwa Cafe within the shopping center and Starbucks down the road. Bagels Up will have plenty of foot traffic from the other businesses in the area, such as Crunch Fitness, LionShare Cowork, and more. In addition to sitting in this prime shopping center, the new bagel shop will also see foot traffic coming from the Village Shoppes at San Pable and Harbour Place shopping centers.
