A brand new wine shop, Tony’s Wine Cabana, is preparing to debut in Flagler Beach, located at 705 N Ocean Shore Blvd Unit B.

Owner Tony Porcellini recently submitted a plan review application to the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation to open a brand new wine shop later this year. While exact details have yet to be confirmed by What Now Jacksonville, customers can expect wine tastings, retail options, and more when Tony’s Wine Cabana opens. The new wine shop will sit next to Sip & Surf Coffee Co., across the street from Flagler Beachfront Winery.

While specific details regarding the wine shop are still to be officially released, it’s expected to be in good hands with Porcellini in charge, who is a partner with the Carrera Wine Cellar in St. Augustine. The industry veteran has over 20 years of experience and is credited with reinventing the entire food and beverage operation at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. Porcellini has a history of opening new restaurant concepts, including Shula’s Steak House, Fresh Mediterranean Market, Il Mulino New York Trattoria, Garden Grove, and the Cabana Bar and Grill.

In the wine world, the Johnson & Wales College graduate is Sommelier certified by the Court of Master Sommeliers and is credited with a sweeping expansion of the resort’s beverage service and a wine program now featuring up to 1,400 selections, including organic and rare vintages, according to Carrera Wine Cellar’s website. The accomplished restaurateur is now preparing to open his newest venture in Flagler Beach later this year.
