A brand new Indian restaurant, Honest Indian Cafe & Kwality Ice-Cream, is getting ready to open in Jacksonville at 9551 Baymeadows Road, Suite 20.

The company owners recently submitted a plan review application to the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation to open the restaurant in a vacant space next to Athenian Owl in the Baymeadows Place shopping center. When the new eatery opens, customers can expect unique curry pizzas, delectable ice creams, and mouthwatering Indian bakery treats. Honest Indian Cafe & Kwality Ice-Cream is expected to open in late Summer 2024.

The new eatery is the latest from the owners of Aha Curry Point, an Indian restaurant in the same shopping center that was forced to close last year after two and half years. The business had to relocate and rebrand after the lease on the current space ended, and the owners could not secure the extension. Now, the company will open a new concept where Indian flavors meet comfort food.

“We’re thrilled to unveil our restaurant’s transformation,” according to the restaurant’s Facebook. “Say goodbye to the existing “Aha Curry Point” and get ready to savor a new chapter with “Honest Indian Cafe & Kwality Ice-creams.” Get ready for an enhanced dining experience that celebrates the rich flavors of India. Stay tuned for the grand reopening – it’s going to be a feast for the senses.”
