Dirty Dough, the national cookie chain that offers super-stuffed cookie bombs, is getting ready to open a new location in St. Johns at 90 Durbin Pavilion Drive, Suite 103.

St. Johns issued permits last month for a $90,000 interior build-out for a new 1,470-square-foot site within The Pavilion at Durbin Park, according to Jacksonville Daily Record. Franchise owners Caleb and Jalen Hutchinson hope to open the new location sometime next month, but doesn’t have an exact opening date. This will be only the second Dirty Dough in Florida following the company’s state debut in Pensacola. The company is preparing for a national takeover, with several other locations coming soon.

In Florida, Dirty Dough plans to open new locations in Orlando and Sarasota later this year. This is just the beginning, as the company plans to open at least 44 more locations in 20 states, including for the first time in Alabama, California, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, and South Dakota. It’s no wonder this company is expanding so quickly. With an irresistible product and a low-cost start-up for franchise owners, Dirty Dough is destined to grow rapidly.

“You won’t find a thicker, softer, more gooey, or flavorful cookie than the ones from Dirty Dough,” according to the company’s website. “The “Dirty” refers to all of the fillings, mix-ins, and layers that go into our special cookie process. We aren’t trying to win any beauty contests with our cookies. We don’t care about being picture-perfect— cookies are for eating! Driven by the belief that the best people and cookies go deeper than what you see on the surface, we focus on what’s inside. That’s what really matters.”
