Ecological Coffee Shop, a pop-up cafe based in St. Augustine, is getting ready to open a permanent residence at 115 Strongway Ct.

The company is set to make its brick-and-mortar debut in the coming weeks in the Stone Climbing gym, according to a recent plan review application submitted to the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation. Last week, a representative from the rock climbing gym officially announced the addition of the cafe, although an exact opening date was not shared. Customers can expect plenty of coffee options, arepas, and more to keep all the climbers fueled, caffeinated, and hydrated.

This will be an excellent location for The Ecologica team to land, considering their products are geared towards individuals who live healthier lives. Some items on the menu include a loaded chicken salad bowl, a plant-based pabellon bowl, and plenty of different arepas, including a cornmeal bread stuffed arepa. For drinks, customers can expect plenty of coffee and tea options, such as a iced matcha latte. Before this, The Ecologica Coffee & Shop was found throughout northeast Florida via pop-ups.

“This is something amazing happening soon…a new adventure starting,” according to a recent social media post from The Ecologica Coffee & Shop. “And in the best place ever [Stone Climbing Co.] Thank you so much, beautiful people. We are grateful to belong to this community.”
