Ryan’s Lobster Pound, a new food truck recently launched in St. Augustine, is preparing to open a second food truck in Jacksonville.

Owner Ryan Cowette recently opened his food truck at Marina Munch, a vibrant food truck court at 509 S Ponce De Leon Boulevard, offering famous Maine lobster rolls, red hot dogs, hand-cut fries and more. This is just the beginning for the company, as Cowette is already working on a second food truck. The business owner tells What Now Jacksonville that he plans to launch the new Jacksonville food truck in the next three to six months. It’s unclear exactly where the new food truck will sit once it opens.

Ryan’s Lobster Pound offers a variety of delicious lobster-based meals, such as the famous Maine lobster rolls, filled to the brim with sweet, tender lobster meat, giving customers an authentic taste of Maine. For only $6 more, customers can upgrade to a meal with crispy, hand-cut French fries and a refreshing side of coleslaw. Ryan’s Lobster Pound also offers colossal king crab leg meat. Sold by the pound, customers can choose from .75 to 2 lbs of colossal king crab legs. For sides, the food truck offers cheese sticks, Maine whoopie pie, and various drinks.

While Ryan’s Lobster Pound only recently launched its first food truck, the company is ready for success, offering much more than just food on its website. On top of being able to order from pick-up, the company has plenty of merchandise for all lobster lovers. Ryan’s Lobster Pound also offers local delivery, direct shipping, and services for events or catering. Hopefully, by early next year, the company will have two food trucks roaming the greater Jacksonville area.
