With four locations in St Pete, St. Pete Beach, and Tampa, Mexican restaurant Grand Hacienda promises an expansive menu offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and “a freshness you will be able to taste.” Recently submitted plan review paperwork appears to show the brand preparing to launch a fifth location, this time at 2325 Ulmerton Road in Clearwater.
Grand Hacienda’s dinner menu centers entrees like Carnitas, served with rice, beans, onions, and pickled jalapeños and Huarache (A thick oval home-made corn tortilla deep fried, filled with beans, steak, and tomatillo sauce, topped with lettuce, chopped onions, tomato, queso fresco, and sour cream). The menu also features quesadillas, tacos, enchiladas, burritos, chimichangas, and other favorites.
Brunch/Lunch is also a big part of what Grand Hacienda offers, with a selection of dishes Hot Off the Griddle, including breakfast classics like Nana’s Combo (2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 1 fruit or home fries, bacon or sausage) and a variety of pancakes and takes on French Toast. Perhaps most intriguing is the selection of “Creative Craters-Eggs,” which include 2 scrambled eggs in a homemade bread bowl. These have place names, like the France (Eggs with ham, brie & bacon), the Mexico (Scrambled eggs with ham, Oaxaca cheese, jalapeño, bean, topped avocado), and the Germany (Scrambled eggs with potatoes, onions, peppers & cheddar).
