A new restaurant looks to be planning an opening near the water at Blackburn Point Road and Bellagio Way in Osprey. Permit paperwork was submitted recently by Shipwrecked Bar & Grill Inc. for a restaurant, Shipwrecked Bar & Grill, opening at 576 Blackburn Point Road.

Behind Shipwrecked Bar & Grill Inc is owner Penny Beebe. What Now reached out to Beebe on Wednesday to inquire about plans for the new bar and restaurant. Beebe said no opening date had yet been determined for Shipwrecked Bar & Grill and declined to comment further.

As a result, further details on the restaurant’s menu and general brand profile—apart from the colorful name and the location by the water—are not yet available.

Opening at 576 Blackburn Point Road, Shipwrecked Bar & Grill would join Osprey Harbor Village. Other nearby eateries include Deep Lagoon Seafood and Oyster House and Casey Key Fish House.
