A popular Maryland-based restaurant is showing tantalizing signs of life at its first DC location. Chadol Korean BBQ has begun construction in Edgewood, reports local media outlet PoPville.

The concept, which crafts its superior cuisine from premium meats, is moving into the ground floor of the Alamo Drafthouse at 630 Rhode Island Avenue, NE. A precise opening timeline is not currently available, however construction appears to still be in the early stages.

Chadol currently has one restaurant in operation in Rockville, Maryland. Founded in 2022, the restaurant has developed a strong fan base owing to its meticulously crafted dishes. The website clearly states the eatery’s intentions, saying: “At Chadol Korean BBQ our mission is to provide a tasteful, yet elevated Korean barbecue experience by serving high-quality selections of premium meats. Aiming to be the new standard in the industry, we look forward to exceeding your expectations with every visit.”

Chadol’s impressive and meat intensive menu uses superior ingredients to craft distinctive meals. The restaurant’s fare is made using Angus beef, USDA Prime, and Duroc Pork.
