Chopt Coming to Tenleytown Next Year

The salad chain will be opening in spring of 2025.

A popular and healthy fast casual salad concept is bringing its greens to the Tenleytown area. Chopt is opening a new storefront in Upton Place next year, reports the Washington Business Journal.

The restaurant, which turns a creative eye towards salads, has signed onto occupy 2,520 square feet of the apartment building located at 4000 Wisconsin Avenue Place NW. DC locals can look forward to sampling Chopt’s fare when it opens in spring of 2025.

Chopt is one of several new establishments slated to join the Upton Place neighborhood next year. In addition to the salad chain, the incoming crop of storefronts includes Botiwalla, Yu Noodles, and Maison De Beute.

Chopt started feeding hungry customers in New York City in 2001. The concept’s primary objective is to offer healthy and creative cuisine by working with vendors within the local community. The brand’s website states its ethos as: “We commit ourselves to a better process, start to finish. That means buying local produce and developing relationships with farmers along the way. It means seeking out unique artisans from around the world. And it means giving you a better tasting, better quality experience.”
