Virginia chicken fans, prepare for your next big obsession. Honeymoon Chicken, a celebrated concept from the team behind Ted’s Bulletin, is bringing its distinctive take on the fried favorite to Alexandria next year, reports the Washington Business Journal.

The concept, which has been honored by the Michelin Guide, will be opening alongside a new Ted’s Bulletin location in the Carlyle Crossing apartment building, located at 2495 Mandeville Lane.

Alexandria foodies still have a little while to wait before sampling Honeymoon’s illustrious fare; the restaurant will be opening in the second or third quarter of 2025.

Catalogue, the hospitality group behind the concept, initially intended to open a Sidekick Bakery alongside the new Ted’s Bulletin location, however Catalogue founder and CEO Steve Salis states that Honeymoon is a better fit for the location, saying “We felt that Honeymoon just made more sense there.”

Honeymoon’s delicious cuisine earned it a spot on the 2022 Michelin’s Bib Gourmand list. The Alexandria eatery will be Honeymoon’s second location, joining the flagship restaurant in DC.
