A DC hospitality group is preparing to bring a touch of sophistication to the local dining scene. Balos Restaurant Group and the minds behind For Five Coffee are preparing to introduce Bar Angie, an upscale brasserie experience, to the neighborhood, reports popular Twitter feed @eat_dc.

The brand new concept has applied for a liquor license for its 2300 N Street, NW location. According to the papers filed with the Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration, the restaurant’s interior will have space for up to 92 customers. Bar Angie will also have a summer garden, with seating for 49 guests.

Future regulars can look forward to enjoying more than just great food and drinks when the establishment opens later this year. Bar Angie has also request an Entertainment Endorsement, permitting live entertainment inside the restaurant.

Bar Angie will be open from 8 am to 11 pm Monday through Thursday, and from 8 am to 1 am Friday through Sunday.
