DC diners, get ready to close out the winter with some delicious kebabs. Maman Joon, the popular Persion concept from Peter Tabibian and Kevin Ejtemai, is opening a new location in L’Enfant Plaza, reports local media outlet PoPville.

The eatery will be joining several other restaurants in its new 429 L’Enfant Plaza, SW home. While Maman Joon has not yet announced an exact opening date, a post on the restaurant’s Instagram account states that the concept will begin serving customers this February.

Maman Joon, which is committed to serving authentic Persian cuisine to DMV diners, currently has five locations open across the region; 2 in DC, 2 in Virginia, and 1 in Maryland. The next and sixth spot will continue the restaurant’s history of serving fresh and delicious cuisine. Maman Joon’s website succinctly states it’s purpose and ethos, saying: “We take pride in creating authentic Persian food that reflects our heritage. Our ingredients are always fresh, most of our spices come from Iran, and our menu is lovingly prepared using our treasured family recipes.”
