A family-run Annapolis restaurant group is bringing the authentic flavors of Mexico straight to Bowie diners. The Salmoran Group is opening a second location of its popular Mi Lindo Cancun Grill restaurant in the neighborhood, reports the Washington Business Journal.

The Salmoran family will be opening the second iteration of the Annapolis success story as a part of the South Lake Marketplace development, located at 700 Fairmount Drive. Mi Lindo Cancun Grill is set to occupy a 5,000 square feet space. Bowie foodies can look forward to sampling the restaurant’s delicious, house-made cuisine this fall.

Annapolis residents are already familiar with Mi Lindo Cancun Grill’s authentic fare, but future Bowie regulars hoping for a peak of what’s in store have plenty to look forward to. The Salmorans dedicate considerable time and energy to crafting their dishes; Harry Salmoran explains “We’re very enthusiastic about our food. We love what we serve. It’s traditional Mexican, but with our twist on it. It’s not Tex-Mex, and it’s not fast food.”

Mi Lindo Cancun Grill is one of three restaurants founded and operated by the Salmoran family, the others being Señor’s Chile and Amigos Mexican Grill. The hospitality group’s website assures customers committed and prospective alike that they are in for something special, stating: “With each dish, we celebrate the authentic flavors and traditions that make our cuisine special, making sure every visit feels like a warm, delicious connection to our roots.”
