According to a recent permit filing, The Powder Room will soon open in what was previously Gilmer House in the Stadium District, located at 12 N Tacoma Ave.
“Our goal for opening is to be able to open soon,” Cameron Gilmore, the co-owner of The Powder Room told What Now Seattle, “Our journey has been a long time in the making, with a lot of conversations and dreams. We found a connection in our shared love of travel, good times, and of course, champagne.”
Kia Smith and Cameron Gilmore, the two co-owners of The Powder Room, expressed that The Powder Room Champagne Bar came from their mutual love of bubbles, calling themselves bubble connoisseurs, and being two enterprising women. They saw a void in the area for a place that embodied everything they craved: a meeting space, a refreshing oasis, and a haven for celebrations or forgetting any worry.
“As far as aesthetics go, the inside is swanky and super fun! There are a lot of picture-worthy areas of the venue. We have developed a great cocktail menu, and on the other side of that menu are the same cocktails but made with bubbles instead, all with funny names. We will also have all-day brunch Saturday and Sunday with fun brunch drinks and a DJ.”
“Not only that, we will provide customers a make-your-own bloody mary at their table and espresso martini flights. For lunch and dinner, we will have small bite options on the menu. The dinners will feature fun dinners from pop-up kitchen opportunities with local chefs.”
