Novanta to Wind Down Operations at Mukilteo Facility
According to a WARN filing with the Washington State Employment Security Department, Novanta Corporation is conducting a workforce reduction. The move follows the closure of its Mukilteo facility located at 4600 Campus Place.
The closure will result in 83 layoffs beginning July 7, 2026, with separations continuing through March 31, 2027. The company’s operations at the Mukilteo facility are being relocated to the United Kingdom. The WARN filing also details the affected positions and timeline for employee separations.
Synrad operates within Novanta’s photonics division. It comprises laser and beam-delivery technologies for precision manufacturing. The business’s customer support and engineering activities have enabled it to serve OEM customers.
