According to a recent permit filing, Wily Cycleworks aims to debut in Tacoma at 2501 6th Avenue.
Wily Cycleworks will soon debut sometime in the fall of this year. The new concept will consist of a bike shop and a cafe.
Wily Cycleworks was filed under Wily Cycleworks LLC, which according to Washington Company Search, was incorporated on April 10th, 2024. Dustin Johnson is listed to be behind the LLC and the permit filing.
According to Wily Cycleworks website, the concept will consist of three key pillars: service, retail, and the cafe. “Our full day cafe ensures you always have access to the fuel and parts that you need. Coffee and light fare in the morning. Beer, natural wine, and snacks in the afternoon. Bikes all day long. What more do you need?”
“Full service mechanic shop, offering basic tune-ups to race-ready tune-ups, e-bike services, custom builds, component upgrades, wheel building and truing, and more. We love your bike a much as you do.”
For the property itself, according to Moody’s, the building is referred to as the Jonas Building. The property was built in 1905 and consists of two stories. The property boasts 6,534 square feet of space.
