Australian-inspired, Oklahoma-based, acai concept Bondi Bowls will soon begin building a new location at 5145 N. FM620 Rd in Austin according to recent public records.

Construction records examined by What Now Austin state that the project will consist of a “tenant Interiors food service facility to serve fresh food. Includes kitchen, prep area, serving area, dining and two restrooms.” The project will span 1,399 square feet total at an estimated $150,000. The project is expected to wrap up by the end of March.

The brand offers vegan, all-natural acai bowls, smoothies, juices, and health shots that eschew refined sugars and promotes clean eating.

Between its trucks and storefront, the menu consists of 12 different bowls, such as the signature Bondi, an acai blend topped with homemade granola, sliced banana, and strawberry, the pitaya-based Bronte topped with granola, sliced banana, and drizzled Nutella, and the Hiwassee, a pitaya bowl served with granola, kiwi, and blueberry that takes its name from Oklahoma’s Lake Hiwassee, where Wilson grew up.

No opening date has been announced.
