According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, Japantown’s Fu Hui Hua plans to debut a new location at 2809 24th Street — near establishments such as Dynamo Donut & Coffee, La Torta Gorda, and Pop’s Bar.

“We were planning to open in May, but it will probably take longer for construction. So maybe in June or July,” shares the concept’s owner, Hirohiko Sato.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Fu Hui Ha (FHH for short), the restaurant offers a brief introduction on its website: “Chef Ge brings over twenty years of expertise in honing the craft of Chinese and Japanese cuisine in Tokyo, combining it with a distinctive French flair that sets his culinary creations apart.”

“Now, he proudly introduces a new culinary concept to San Francisco, promising a never-experienced dining experience. With a dedication to sourcing the freshest local ingredients, Chef Ge strives to take diners on an unforgettable journey through the realm of fine dining.”

Stay tuned for updates.
