According to the Bay Area Telegraph, a new “full-service restaurant and bar with a music-centric twist” is preparing to debut in downtown Walnut Creek.
Coming to 1535 Bonanza Street — taking over a freestanding, one-story building formerly occupied by a PG&E customer service office — Stereo 41 will land near establishments such as the Cuban eatery Havana Restaurant, the Korean restaurant Mixed Grain, and Xicote Cocina Mexicana.
What Now San Francisco reached out to the Stereo 41’s owners, Victor Abu-Ghaben and his sister Sofia Hanan — who are also behind the concepts World Famous Hot Boys, known for Nashville-style spicy chicken, and LITA Walnut Creek — to inquire about their plans for the upcoming venue, but they could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the Bay Area Telegraph reports that “Stereo 41 will feature ‘Contemporary American’ cuisine served in a lively atmosphere that blurs the line between restaurant and nightlife. The establishment is envisioned as a full-service restaurant and bar with a significant entertainment component – notably an in-house DJ booth for music.”
“As of now, no official menu or specific dishes have been published,” the Journal continues.
Stereo 41 is slated to open before the end of the summer. Stay tuned for updates.
