Bay Billiard & Snooker is preparing to open at 31005 – 31199 Mission Blvd. in Hayward, bringing a new billiards-focused business to the Mission Boulevard corridor. Owner Asadullah Escandari confirmed to WhatNow that the business is currently awaiting approval for its alcohol license.
Escandari said Bay Billiard & Snooker will operate primarily as a snooker bar, with the focus on the game and drinks served for consumption at the business. The owner confirmed that the concept will not include a food program.
The business represents Escandari’s first business venture. He told WhatNow that the opening may take place at the end of September.
The business is expected to offer an evening-oriented setting centered on snooker, with alcoholic beverages available to customers at the location. Escandari did not disclose additional details about the planned interior, number of tables, or specific beverage selection.
