Donut Petit is preparing to expand into San Francisco with a new location at 100 First Street, bringing the Alameda-based doughnut shop to the downtown area. The business recently announced the upcoming location through its social media channels, describing the San Francisco store as its next chapter. The property is located in the Yerba Buena neighborhood near the Salesforce Transit Center.
Founded in Alameda, Donut Petit currently operates from 711 Santa Clara Avenue. The bakery is known for handcrafted gourmet doughnuts and espresso drinks and has also participated in food events and pop-ups around the Bay Area. The Presidio, for example, lists Donut Petit among the vendors at its seasonal Presidio Pop Up.
According to the company’s profile, its selection includes classic doughnuts as well as seasonal varieties, mochi doughnuts and cronut creations.
The Alameda shop currently offers assorted doughnuts alongside beverages including drip coffee, London Fog lattes, mocha, ube lattes and hot chocolate. It also provides catering services for events and celebrations.
Donut Petit has not yet announced an opening date for the San Francisco location or provided additional details about the planned menu and operating hours at 100 First Street. The company’s existing Alameda location will continue operating as the business prepares for the expansion.
