Top Hill Market is preparing to open at 16820 Jackson Oaks Drive in Morgan Hill, bringing a small grocery market to the local community in the winter. The business is currently undergoing extensive remodeling, according to owner Prem Gupta, who spoke with WhatNow.
Gupta said the family-owned business is renovating the space with new flooring, painting, wall texturing, and other improvements. He also added that the market is being developed with the needs of nearby residents in mind, particularly those looking for convenient access to basic groceries without having to make a larger shopping trip. The market will serve as a neighborhood grocery and convenience store, offering everyday essentials for residents who need smaller shopping options nearby.
The store is expected to carry groceries such as milk, bread, and fresh produce. Top Hill Market will also offer beer and wine. Gupta said the business is intended to provide more than a traditional convenience store, with a broader selection of grocery items and fresh foods.
The property previously housed a similar store, and Gupta said the new business plans to maintain some of those offerings while expanding the selection to include organic products.
Gupta said the remodeling work is ongoing, and the business still needs to complete licensing and other requirements with government agencies. He estimated that the store will debut in the winter.
