A taste of Thailand is coming soon to Germantown.

Chalin Thai Cuisine is preparing to launch at 7867 Farmington Blvd, taking over the former 1,800-square-foot East Meets West location. Husband-and-wife owners Sittidache ‘Nart’ and Natpapat ‘Bet’ Viangteeravat are excited to share their passion for authentic Thai cuisine with the community.

Named after their two daughters, Chalin will offer a selection of traditional Thai favorites such as pan fried gyoza, pineapple curry, cashew chicken, pad see ew, and basil fried rice—dishes the Viangteeravats believe are currently missing from the area.

“It was my dream to bring good quality Thai food to the community,” Nart shared with What Now Memphis. “I love the people in Germantown.”

The couple is in the final stages of preparation and hopes to announce an opening date by the end of next week. They are currently hiring cooks, servers, cashiers, and hosts.
