Texas Roadhouse is expanding its presence in California with a new restaurant in Temecula. The popular steakhouse chain has received city approval for an 8,000-square-foot location at 40710 Winchester Road at the Promenade Temecula Mall, according to Patch.

A public hearing before the City of Temecula’s Director of Community Development was held on February 27, a public notice from the Press Enterprise shows. The conditional use permit allows for renewal up to five times.

According to city documents, it will be built within the parking lot of Dick’s Sporting Goods on the northeast side of the mall. The project includes a full-service bar, lounge, and an outdoor patio dining area.

Known for its hand-cut steaks, fall-off-the-bone ribs, fresh-baked bread, and made-from-scratch sides, the company has seen steady success. Texas Roadhouse recently announced strong financial results for the fourth quarter of 2024, with average weekly sales of $153,867 and a 37.3% growth in restaurant margin dollars.
