In-N-Out Burger is working on opening a store in Broomfield, city records reveal. The chain has proposed to build a new location of the burger spot at 5005 W. 120th Avenue, in the Broomfield Plaza shopping area.

This new In-N-Out will be a 3,887-square-foot restaurant featuring a drive-through and an additional 2,000-square-foot outdoor patio area. The public can provide input on the project until April 4, and then the review process will proceed.

The site is planned for the south end of the existing parking lot west of JAX Broomfield Outdoor Gear, Farm, and Ranch store. The property will accommodate up to 124 guests between indoor and outdoor seating, have 54 parking spaces, and a drive-through lane designed to hold up to 34 vehicles.

Based in California, the iconic fast-food chain has expanded to other states in the last decade and has plans to further broaden its reach. Tennessee and New Mexico are set to see their first In-N-Out locations over the next year or two, KTLA reports.
