Local chain Chili Shack is gearing up to open its fifth location in the metro area, the brand revealed. A recent Instagram post states that the company is preparing for business at 2148 Larimer St.

“Who’s ready? Landmark historical building,” it reads. “Chili shack ain’t playing, we putting ops on notice! All glory to the man above.”

Abraham Olivas, the visionary behind Chili Shack, shared with What Now Denver that the new location is slated to open soon. He started the eatery with inspiration from his childhood kitchen experiences and has since opened outposts in Lakewood, East Colfax, Westminster, and Central Denver.

The Mexican restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is known for its mouthwatering menu of birria tacos, chili cheese fries, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and carne asada fries. Once a liquor license is approved, the location will have a fully stocked bar.
