Firehouse Subs is expanding in the Memphis area.

The franchise is bringing its signature steaming subs to 8701 US-51 North, Suite 101 in Millington, according to recently filed city permits. The 1,732-square-foot space will undergo approximately $150,000 in renovations before it debuts this summer.

Franchisees John and LaDonna Parish have opened several Firehouse Subs locations in and around Memphis, including on Summer Ave, in Jonesboro, and most, recently, in Arlington.

Although the Parishes were unavailable for comment, EmmaJean Livingston, the Communications Manager at Firehouse Subs, confirmed the news with What Now Memphis.

Founded in 1994, Firehouse Subs is celebrated for its hearty, hot sandwiches—particularly the Hook & Ladder. This fan-favorite sub features smoked turkey breast, Virginia honey ham, and melted Monterey Jack cheese.

The chain is also known for its firefighter-themed hot sauces and commitment to supporting first responders through the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.
