Last fall, What Now Memphis reported that Teriyaki Madness was planning its Greater Memphis debut. Now, the Asian restaurant chain has confirmed that it won’t stop at just one location.
The first Teriyaki Madness outpost in the area is slated to open this summer at 465 North Germantown Pkwy, occupying a 2,110-square-foot space in The Pointe at Cordova.
Meanwhile, franchisee Falguni Gangar is actively scouting additional locations. While specific sites have not yet been disclosed, Teriyaki Madness Chief Marketing Officer Jodi Boyce shared that the expansion is in the works.
“We have a couple opening soon and then a whole bunch more in the pipeline,” Boyce told The Daily Memphian. “We’re very excited.”
Teriyaki Madness currently operates 165 locations across 40 states, including five in Greater Nashville. The Cordova eatery will mark its West Tennessee debut.
The menu features made-to-order Seattle-style teriyaki bowls in three different sizes, plus plates and sides, including chicken potstickers, crab rangoons, and edamame.
Gangar has not yet responded to inquiries from What Now Memphis, so stay tuned for updates as specific sites are confirmed.
