Parker may get a taste of authentic Japanese flavors at Land of Sushi, a new restaurant for which plans have been submitted by the city. While there is no address assignment yet, the business is eyeing a plot on the south side of Cottonwood Drive, just west of E-470.

A site plan shows the building will be 5,680 square feet and have an outdoor patio area for diners to enjoy their meals al fresco. There will be 66 parking spaces, three of which are ADA-allotted. Galloway and Company is listed as working on the project.

While the company did not respond to requests for comment about the status of the project, the latest update filed by the city in January says that revisions are needed.

Land of Sushi was opened 25 years ago in Centennial, across from the Streets at SouthGlenn. Westword reports it is owned by Jessie and Steve Liu, who is a trained sushi chef. The eatery has a delicious selection of sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese delicacies.
