Woman’s boutique files plans for store at Phipps Plaza.

Kate Spade could be opening a second Buckhead location.

The woman’s boutique submitted a building permit application with the City of Atlanta Thursday to begin construction on space inside Phipps Plaza, at 3500 Peachtree Road.

An estimated $275,000 will be spent building out the Kate Spade store at the luxury Buckhead mall.

Kate Spade has a location across the street at Lenox Square Mall that was renovated in 2010.

Is it possible that the woman’s boutique will shutter its Lenox location after opening at Phipps?

What Now Atlanta (WNA) reached out to Kate Spade for specifics on the Phipps location. Kate Spade declined to comment.

  • Not sure if this is what Kate Spade has in mind, but I would love it if after the new Kate Spade location opened that they turned the Lenox Kate Spade location into a Kate Spade Saturday store, which is a sister brand that launched in 2013. Exciting things regardless!
