A new convenience store and gas station appears to be headed to Gwinnett County.

Nick & Moes is proposed for 132 E Crogan Street in Lawrenceville, according to a recent building permit application. The business would be nearly 4,900 square feet, according to the application.

The chain describes itself as “a big time convenience store and gas station with big time services and a small town feel.” In addition to gas, the stores that aim to be a one-stop shop offer a variety of food and beverages, including options from Quiznos, Pizza Hut and Nick & Moes Famous Fried Chicken. They also sell coffee and energy drinks, as well as wine, beer and liquor.

Nick & Moes was founded by Nick Sallem and Moe Isa, starting as a small deli operation in Detroit, Michigan. The business moved to Florida in the early 2000s, with an eye on creating a bigger brand that could be a go-to food and fuel destination.

The company recently announced that seven franchise agreements would bring the chain to Georgia and Texas and expand it further in Florida, into the South Florida and Orlando areas. They were seeking three more franchisees, with these 10 initial franchisees envisioned to be at the forefront of bringing the brand to new markets.

“With the help and collaboration of our remarkable team and various partners, we have been building an incredible powerhouse-one stop shop, community oriented fueling, restaurants and retail outlets across the nation,” according to the company.
