Douglasville is getting a new gym.
Planet Fitness is coming to 6700 Douglas Boulevard at Arbor Place. It is expected to open in December.
The team behind the gym is Eclipse Fitness Group, a franchisee of the fitness brand with locations in Georgia and Florida. The Douglasville gym will be the group’s 23rd location of Planet Fitness. They recently opened one in Kennesaw.
Planet Fitness is one of the largest and fastest-growing franchisers and operators of fitness centers in the world. It was founded in 1992 in New Hampshire and now has about 2,500 locations.
Planet Fitness prides itself on being a judgment-free zone for working out, offering a variety of cardio and strength equipment.
The new Douglasville location will feature state-of-the-art equipment, the PF Black Card Spa and locker rooms. Classic and Black Card memberships are both available now ahead of the gym’s opening.
