Fine wine retailer opening at Camden Apartments.
Plans have been filed for a new fine wine retailer in Old Fourth Ward.
Symposium Wines submitted a building permit application with City of Atlanta Monday to convert a shuttered restaurant, at 265 Ponce de Leon Avenue, into the mercantile space.
The wine retailer, whose name in ancient Greek means “to drink together” or “drinking party,” will replace La Mongerie Bakery & Bistro in the Camden Apartments building. La Mongerie closed its doors in December 2013.
A manager at the Old Fourth Ward apartment community told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in a telephone interview Monday that Symposium is scheduled to begin its buildout in August.
