An outdoor supply store appears to be working on another store in the Peach State, this time east of Atlanta.

Tractor Supply Co. is proposed for 136 Washington Plaza in Washington, Georgia.

Founded in 1938, Tractor Supply Co. stores sell supplies for farmers, ranchers, homeowners and gardeners, including lawnmowers, outdoor furniture, tools, gardening supplies, sporting goods and more. The company also owns and operates pet supplies retailer Petsense. The company is based in Brentwood, Tennessee.

Construction documents for the new Washington store describe Tractor Supply as a “retailer targeting the hobby farmer,” with offerings like “clothing, fencing, hardware, bird feed and equine products.”

The company has more than 2,000 stores across the U.S. As previously reported by What Now Atlanta, locations are also planned for Alpharetta and Newnan.

Construction bids on the proposed Washington store will be accepted until Jan. 28, 2025.

Washington is located in Wilkes County.
