Forthcoming Japanese restaurant in Buckhead seeks to fill positions before October opening.

Katana Teppanyaki & Sushi is moving forward with plans to replace the now-shuttered Truffles Grill (Ruby Tuesdays before that) in Buckhead, at 3345 Lenox Road NE.

The half sushi bar,  half teppanyaki restaurant Sunday placed an advertisement on Craigslist Atlanta seeking to fill several positions at its forthcoming location including sushi and hibachi chefs.

“Successful candidates must have experience in sushi and hibachi, thrive in fast-paced environments and a passion to please every guest,” according to the AD.

“We are willing to train hardworking and positive candidates. Candidates must have full-time availability during the week and on weekends.”

Interested parties are invited to apply in person at the restaurant, Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a resume in hand.

Katana, owned by Mali Hu of One Sushi Plus in Brookhaven, is on track to open in early October (originally September), according to the Japanese restaurant’s website.
